Deep Eddy is a distillery based in Austin, Texas that produces flavoured vodka.[1] It was the fastest-growing spirits brand in the US in 2015, according to market research company IRI.[2] It is owned by family owned distilled spirits supplier Heaven Hill Brands.[3][4]
All Deep Eddy Vodka products are distilled in small batches at its Texas distillery.[5] Its line of products includes Straight Vodka, Ruby Red Grapefruit Vodka, Lemon Vodka, Orange Vodka, Peach Vodka, Cranberry Vodka and Sweet Tea Vodka.[6][7]

Currently distilled in Buda, Texas with a tasting room and distillery located in Dripping Springs, Texas, Deep Eddy Vodka was founded in Austin, Texas in 2010.[8][9][10] The brand was named after the historic Deep Eddy Pool in Austin.[11] Since its establishment it had expanded to over 32 states.[12]
In 2014, Deep Eddy Vodka started a new distillery and tasting room located in Dripping Springs just outside of Austin.[13] In 2015 Deep Eddy Vodka was acquired by Heaven Hill Brands.[14] In 2017, Deep Eddy opened a second distillery south of Austin in Buda.[15]

The company sold 60,000 in 2012, 705,000 cases in 2015 and 1 million cases in 2017.[24] It achieved a 117 percent growth rate, a triple digit growth, in 2014.[25] In 2016 alone, the brand’s nine-liter case sales had increased by 30%.[24]

In 2014, 2015 and 2016, Deep Eddy Vodka was honored with ‘Hot Brand Award’ from Impact Magazine.[25][28] In 2015 Deep Eddy Vodka was also honored as a breakout brand by the Beverage World.[28] In June 2017, Deep Eddy Vodka was considered as the Vodka Brand Champion by The Spirits Business.[29] During the 2013 New York International Spirits Competition, Deep Eddy won three awards: Silver Medal, Bronze Medal and Distillery of the Year.[12]
Various products and flavors of Deep Eddy have also garnered awards, such as Deep Eddy Ruby Red and Deep Eddy Straight which both won a Gold Medal, and Sweet Tea which was awarded a Silver Medal, in the 2013 International Craft Spirits Awards.[30][12]
According to The Austin Chronicle, Deep Eddy Vodka is the best distiller in Austin for 2017.[31]
