Biography[edit]

Joshi started to gain interest in cricket through the influence of his father during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. At age 11 he started to play for Cricmax Academy in Old Bridge Township, New Jersey under former India national cricket team Cricketer Ashok Patel. He was referred to as a powerful striker of the ball in the East Coast Youth Cricket League. [10] Following his years in youth cricket he was named MVP of the National Youth Cricket League in 2019 scoring 163 runs in 5 matches. [11] [12]

In 2019, he was selected to be a part of the United States team to qualify for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup just days before his high school graduation.[9]

In 2021, he was a pre-draft priority pick for The New Jersey Somerset Cavaliers in the Minor League Cricket tournament. In his debut he scored 40* (24) being the highest scorer for his team against The Philadelphians. [13][14] Later in November 2021 he made his debut for the Atlantic Region Men's Zone at the United States Men's National Championship on 16 November 2021. [7]

Raised in East Windsor, New Jersey, he graduated from Hightstown High School.[15] Currently he attends Rutgers University where he studies Healthcare Administration. In addition, he also holds an internship at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center.[9]
