Search Deep Sentinel on Amazon.Deep Sentinel is a do-it-yourself (DIY) smart home security system.[1] controlled with a user’s smartphone. The system and devices are designed and manufactured by Deep Sentinel Corp, a start-up based in Pleasanton, California. The Deep Sentinel system uses an AI Hub connected to a home’s router to allow users control of various home security devices, and send suspicious activities to LiveSentinel™ Center to analyze. Users can set privacy for their system, and receive push notifications, phone calls, email, and text messages if the guards take actions. The Deep Sentinel system is to be used as a real guards monitoring solution with monthly fees, as opposed to traditional monitored systems such as ADT or Vivint. Deep Sentinel is currently a closed ecosystem, only operating with devices branded and manufactured by Deep Sentinel Corp.
In March 2020, Deep Sentinel secured a strategic investment from Nationwide that brings its total series A funding to $24 million.[2]
Development
Deep Sentinel Corp. first announced the development of the Deep Sentinel Surveillance System at the annual Consumer Electronics Show in 2019.[3] In August 2019, Deep Sentinel also launched a flex-pricing program which enables the customer to purchase different camera and service combinations.
Recognition
The Deep Sentinel Home Security System has received the Editor’s Choice Award from TechHive[4], and recognized as innovative AI home security systems in Forbes[5], and positive marks and reviews from Tom's Guide[6], CNET[7], as well as Renton Reporter[8]. Deep Sentinel was named to the 2018 edition of The AI 100, a list of top 100 AI start-ups as chosen by CB Insights.[9] Deep Sentinel has also won the Notable Strategy & Research Reward from Core77 Design Award 2019.[10]
