Deeplina Deka (born 7 February 1992) is an Indian playback singer, music composer, songwriter, actor and engineer.[2] She is a very popular icon in Assamese films and music.[3]
Personal life
Deeplina Deka was born in Bamunimaidan, Guwahati, Assam to Babul Kumar Deka and Padumi Deka.[4]
Career
Deeplina pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering from GIMT, Guwahati and later worked in Assam Circle of Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio for a brief period of time.[5] Later she released her debut music video on Feb 23, 2015, “Nuwari Nuwari”. She acted in a major role of Assamese Movie Mission China in 2017. Soon after the hit of her movie, she released her most popular music video "Sui Diyana" in her own YouTube channel.[6]
