Deji Ige

Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". Deji Ige is a Nigerian writer, poet and spoken word artist and author of Vintage[1]. As of 2022, he's the Communications Advisor to Innov8 Hub and the I-FAIR Israel Nigeria[2]. Deji is renowned for his ability to do a fusion of indigenous languages, history and ideological expressions in his poetry works[3]. Deji's and Dike Chukwumerije's work tagged "From minstrelsy to the spoken word poet: Oral tradition and postcolonial Nigeria" was reviewed by the duo of Chike Okoye and Stella Okoye-Ugwu to project the imporance of oral tradition and the African oral poet. He spoke alongside Wole Soyinka, Tony Elumelu, Samia Nkrumah, and Femi Kuti at the United Bank for Africa Africa's Day 2019[4].
