Deliverect 2
Deliverect is a Belgium-based Software as a Service (SaaS) company that develops digital ordering and delivery software for restaurants. Its platform integrates orders from online food delivery services with a restaurant’s existing point-of-sale (POS) system, allowing venues to manage orders from multiple channels in a single interface. The software uses APIs and cloud-based infrastructure to synchronise menus, orders, and operational data across platforms.
History
Deliverect was founded in 2018 by Jan Hollez, Zhong Xu, Jelte Vrijhoef and Jerome Laredo. Its initial product consolidated orders from food delivery platforms into a unified view for restaurant operators.
By 2025, Deliverect had developed over 1,000 integrations, including point-of-sale systems and online delivery services such as Toast,[1] Square, Uber Eats, DoorDash,[2] and Grubhub.[3] According to company data cited in industry publications, the platform has processed more than one billion orders since its launch.[4]
The company has raised investment from firms including Redpoint Ventures,[5] OMERS Ventures,[6] Coatue Management, DST Global, SmartFin Capital, and Newion Investments.[7] In January 2022, Deliverect completed its Series D funding round at a valuation of more than one billion dollars, becoming a unicorn startup.[4][8]
In 2023, One Stop, a Tesco-owned convenience brand, expanded its online delivery service using Deliverect’s technology.[9] The same year, Deliverect acquired ChatFood, a platform focused on social media ordering, QR-based order and pay at table, and loyalty features.[10] Later in 2023, the company entered a partnership with Uber to route certain deliveries through the Uber Direct service.[11]
In January 2024, Little Caesars announced a partnership with Deliverect to support the integration and scaling of its global third-party delivery operations.[12] In September 2024, supermarket chain Hy-Vee adopted Deliverect’s software for digital food ordering and curbside pickup.[13] In December 2024, Deliverect acquired Tabesto, a provider of self-service ordering and payment kiosks.[14]
Technology
Deliverect’s software uses API-based integrations to connect delivery marketplaces, point-of-sale systems, and restaurant workflows. Core features include menu management, order aggregation, fulfilment routing, and operational analytics. The platform is used by restaurants, convenience stores, and grocery retailers to centralise digital ordering processes.
