Demonhuntr is an American LGBT-oriented horror-comedy series which premiered.[1] on the here! streaming service[2] as well as video-on-demand on January 14, 2022. Created and directed by Tim O'Leary,[3] with episodes written by O'Leary and Zach Nycum, the series combines elements of horror, comedy, action, and world mythology in the telling of Daniel Barnes and Jeremy Irvine, two best friends who start a business by capitalizing on their martial arts prowess and their innate powers as mediums. They create an app called "Demonhuntr," through which people can hire them to vanquish any forces of darkness that are bothering them. The fifth and final episode of season one first aired on February 18, 2022.

Plot[edit]

The story takes place in a world where the general public is aware of supernatural creatures. Daniel Barnes (Edmund Truong) and Jeremy Irvine (Tamario Fletcher) create "Demonhuntr," an app that people can use to hire them to rid their homes of demons, ghosts, and any other dark supernatural creatures.[4] The series employs both a procedural "monster of the week" format,[5] as well as overarching storylines that flow from one episode into the next.
