De jong-sil-li-yang-chag (འབྲས་ལྗོངས་བསིལ་ལེ་གཡང་ཆགས།།) was the national anthem of the Kingdom of Sikkim. It literally translated as "Sikkim is climatically cool, tranquil and blessed with sublime peace". This song describes Mapham-Yutso as the source of its river and the blue sky as the heights of its greatness. It prays for the prosperity of this blessed land. The is the most common song and use to sung as national anthem before Sikkim merger with the Indian Union and is written in Classical Tibetan language. After union with India, this anthem was replaced by Jahan Bagcha Teesta Rangeet (Where Teesta and Rangeet Flow) written in Nepali language. This anthem is still used in ceremonies attended by members or Sikkimese royal families or in memorials.
