Deondre Johnson (born April 27, 2005) is an American football wide receiver for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. He played high school football at Newburgh Free Academy in Newburgh, New York

Deondre Johnson was born in Newburgh, New York, on April 27, 2005. Johnson attended Newburgh Free Academy[1] As a senior, Johnson hauled in 27 receptions for 629 yards and eight touchdowns while adding 25 carries for 161 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. He was named Section IX Player of the Year as well as First Team All-State. Johnson was ranked by Rivals.com and 247Sports as a 3-star recruit and the 2nd best player in New York[2][3] He committed to Rutgers University to play college football.[4][5]
