Derek Halpern is an American entrepreneur, and founder of Social Triggers.[1] He hosts the web tv show Social Triggers TV, and publishes a blog for business owners at Social Triggers.

Early career[edit]

Derek Halpern graduated from State University at Albany. Before he began Social Triggers, he was the founder of a popular celebrity gossip blog.[2]

Career[edit]

Derek Halpern, "an expert on how consumer psychology applies to online marketing,[3]" launched Social Triggers in March 2011. After he released Social Triggers, it was featured in Forbes, Chicago Tribune, Entrepreneur, Fast Company and Inc.

Deemed one of the top 50 Twitter influencers[4] worth following, Derek created the web tv show Social Triggers TV in 2012, and since it's launch, it reached more than 1.5 million views on YouTube.
