Derrius Edwards (Journalist)
Derrius Edwards (born May 23, 1995), known professionally as rawcommnc, is an American music journalist and photographer. Over the course of his career, Derrius has profiled a number of artists, including Dusty Locane, Yelawolf, and Goodie Mob.
Early Life
Derrius Edwards was born on May 23, 1995, in Greensboro, North Carolina. He attended North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and received a bachelor's degree in mass communication in 2017.
Writing Career
Edwards is a seasoned music industry professional with experience in content strategy and editorial writing. In 2020, Edwards was featured in Motown Records' quarterly insiders list of music industry professionals. Edwards has written for a number of publications including Dirty Glove Bastard and InYaEarHipHop.
