DevFacto was founded in Edmonton on March 26, 2007, by Chris Izquierdo, David Cronin, and Ransel Lopez[2]. The company has since opened offices in Calgary, Regina, and Toronto.
In 2018, DevFacto received support from the Government of Canada's Western Innovation (WINN) Initiative to develop and launch their first product, the Sparrow Modern Workplace.[3][4]
