Devan Rajkumar, commonly known as Chef Dev,[1] is a Canadian chef and culinary consultant renowned for his dynamic approach to modernizing East and West Indian cuisines.[2][3] Born to Guyanese parents in Toronto, Canada, Rajkumar's culinary journey has been deeply influenced by his rich cultural heritage.[4]

Early life and education

Rajkumar's passion for food was evident from a young age, inspired by the diverse flavors of his Guyanese upbringing.[5][6] He pursued formal culinary education at George Brown College in Toronto, where he honed his skills and developed a foundation in various cooking techniques.[7][8]
