Social work during Corona

During the time when the entire world had entered the battleground in the battle against Corona, many efforts were underway to prevent the spread of Corona in the country and the state. Officials in the administration were working day and night. At such a time, other people in society were also seen coming forward to help them. In Solapur, a young corporator directly offered his luxurious hotel for the medical staff fighting Corona. He was none other than Mr. Devendra Kothe, the young corporator from Shiv Sena.

In addition, Devendra Kothe had conducted home delivery of food to more than two thousand people in his ward, which helped many families to survive during this lockdown period.

He had become the first corporator in Solapur district of western Maharashtra to open a self-owned 45-room hotel to accommodate the administration officials, police, municipal officials, or doctors and other employees fighting Corona in Solapur.[5]
