Devendra Surana (Hindi: देवेम्द्र सुराना) (born 8 February 1965 in Hyderabad) is an Industrialist, Economist, Managing Director of Bhagyanagar India Limited and Director of Surana Ventures Limited and Surana Group of Companies. Surana Group of Companies, manufactures Solar Photo-voltaic Panels, Auto Electrical, Copper Products, Wind and Solar Power.[1][2]

Education[edit]

At Osmania University, Surana completed a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (with EMCET entrance rank 28), and he earned an MBA (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He was chosen as the brain of the batch.[3]

History[edit]

Mr. Devendra Surana hails from a business family and he is a successful entrepreneur. He is the Past President of Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) and Founder President of Young Entrepreneur Organization for Hyderabad Chapter and Past President of Rotary Club of Hyderabad Deccan. At present he is the Member of National Executive Committee for Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). He is currently the president of the Telangana state council of FICCI.[4]

Mr.Surana has extensively travelled all over the world including United States, Canada, Europe, South Africa, Australia, China, and Singapore etc., in promoting the business activities and attended various Trade Fairs and Exhibitions.
