Devon Archer is an American businessmen and convicted fraudster.[1][2] On February 28, 2022 Archer was sentenced to a year in prison for his involvement in an attempt to swindle a Native American tribe using a fraudulent bond scheme.[1][2]
Archer was a business partner of Hunter Biden at Rosemont Seneca Partners, and later was employed as a board member for Burisma Holdings.[3] Their business relationship at Burisma was the subject of speculation and concern and sparked conspiracy theories largely around the relationship between Hunter and his father Joe Biden who as Vice President was overseeing anti-corruption initiatives. These events led to the phone call between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that triggered the Trump–Ukraine scandal ultimately the First impeachment of Donald Trump.
