Diane Green (May 18, 1957) American Artist & Singer Songwriter
Diane Green was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1985 she graduated with a BFA at Memphis College of Art. Diane was a singer and songwriter in two bands with LPs on the New Rose (1988, 1990) & Au Go-Go (1986) labels. In the 1990s, raising her kids at home Diane created a fiber art, clothing company called Original Face, working with her own woodcut printed, batik, and tie-dyed fabrics. In 2003 she received a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. During her studies Diane started a 501(c)(3) that provides art programs for underserved communities, MUSE, Inc. Today Diane lives in Chicago, working as an artist and playing music.
