Diane Green
Diane Green (May 18, 1957) American Artist & Singer Songwriter
Diane Green was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1985, she graduated with a BFA at Memphis College of Art. Diane was a singer and songwriter in two bands with LPs on the New Rose (1988, 1990) & Au Go-Go (1986) labels. In the 1990s, while raising her kids at home, Diane created a fiber art, clothing company called Original Face, working with her own woodcut-printed, batik, and tie-dyed fabrics. In 2003, she received a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. During her studies, Diane started a 501(c)(3) that provides art programs for underserved communities, MUSE, Inc. Today, Diane lives in Chicago, working as an artist and playing music.
