Dictionary of Man
The Dictionary of Man is a project started by Bob Geldof, founder of Live Aid and director John Maguire, which is financed by the BBC, announced in 2007.[1][2][3] It was planned that the collected material would be displayed on a website, DVDs, books, magazines, CDs, and exhibitions.[2] Geldof had reportedly been planning it since the 1980s when he visited Niger and became aware of the number of native languages becoming lost forever as speakers died.[4]
