Dien van Straalen

Dien van Straalen (born 1947 in Zoetermeer, Netherlands; died July 2010 in Den Haag, Netherlands)[1]) was a Dutch costume designer. She was nominated for Academy Award for Best Costume Design for the film Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003).[2] She was also nominated for BAFTA Award for Best Costume Design for the same film. She designed costumes for over 20 films, including Orlando (1992), The Pillow Book (1996), Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003) and The Libertine (2004).
