Dimitrije Jakšić

Dimitrije Jakšić is part of a distinguished group of painters from Bela Crkva, namely the Jakšić family and Arsenije Petrović, who worked on commissions during the first half of the 19th century.Simeon, Arsenije, and Dimitrije Jakšić are credited to have developed church painting in the northeastern Serbia along with Petrović.
