Premise

Production
After the release of his previous film Cade: The Tortured Crossing (2023), Breen confirmed the development of his seventh feature film and its script on May 18th, 2024, claiming that it was: “Totally different than my previous films.”.[3]. On April 30th, 2025, Breen confirmed that the film entered principal photography on his social media platforms[4][5]; Breen then announced that he started editing the film on June 9th, 2025[6][7]. On November 25th, 2025, Breen revealed the film’s title, Dire Duplicity, and the release of the film’s website[8], including its scheduled release year of 2026[1]
