Directorate of Economic Intelligence (pl:Zarząd Wywiadu Ekonomicznego) – first polish private military company based on Private Military Company from UK and USA.[1] The company offers economic and business intelligence and business counterintelligence - service for private companies and public sector.[2] It employs many former officers of polish secret services.[3]
The beginning[edit]
The company was registerd on 29 November 2012 (Registration Number 000044183) and one year later received a special license from polish interior ministry (MSWiA nr RD-7/2013).[4]
Mercenaries[edit]
In June 2015, the company presented itself on public during EUROPOLTECH exhibition and trade, when it announced that it recruits the mercenaries and fortune soldiers and delivers protection for VIPs and protection for diplomatic service.[5]
Competencies[edit]
Entitlements defined in regulations on detective services.While performing activities, ZWE detectives can collect information from individual persons, enrepreneurs, institutions as well as governmental or self-government administration organs. ZWE detectives are authorized to process personally identifiable information, collected during activities performed, without permission of the person it concerns, related to the case led by the Directorate of Economic Intelligence, solely in time of the case proceedings.Entitlements given in reference to regulations concerning personal and property protection.ZWE detectives who are licensed have the rights derived from regulations concerning personal and property protection and particularly it refers to grant the entitlements to stay in the protected area installations, as well as verifying persons’ identity to prevent identity fraud, holding persons creating immediate threat to promptly hand them over to the Police, use coersive measures and use of fire arms.[6]
