Smart Armor

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Smart Armor is an San Diego-based company that creates digital locking security platforms for consumers and businesses. Headed by CEO Justin Zastrow, Smart Armor provides customizable enterprise platforms through mobile access, database management and chipset technology.[1] Consumers can also look at, share and track their valuables using smart devices.

The startup received worldwide attention after a crowdfunding campaign raised over $500,000 in 2016.[2] The campaign received a boost from Arrow Electronics, who partnered with Indiegogo to help hardware entrepreneurs create products through go-to-market support and engineering assistance.[3] The campaign led to the creation of the Smart Cube, which is the world's first Bluetooth-enabled portable locking system.[4]

The Smart Cube was later featured in several online publications, including PC Magazine[5] and CNET[6]. It was also named a baby safety finalist for "The Best of Baby Tech Awards" by Good Housekeeping in 2018.[7]
