DISGRACELAND is an American true crime podcast written and hosted by Jake Brennan. The scripted series explores the world of music and true crime. It is the most well-known podcast produced by the independent media company Double Elvis Productions which is known for their music-related content.
DISGRACELAND has also been adapted into a book written by Brennan entitled "DISGRACELAND: Musicians Getting Away with Murder and Behaving Very Badly" published by Grand Central Publishing in 2019. [1]
Reception[edit]
The show has received rave reviews from critics. Complex named the series one of the "Best Music Podcasts".[2] Cosmopolitan named the series one of its "25 best podcasts of 2018" in December 2018.[3] In 2019, Music Ally included the series on its list of best music podcasts.[4] Hot Press also selected the series as one of its top podcasts for 2020.[5]
