Manimel Wadu Dishan Daminda De Silva (MSLPA, BSLPA) (born 24 April 1991) is a registered Speech & Language Pathologist and an Audiologist in Speech & Hearing at the Medical Council of Sri Lanka. He is the founder of Miracle L Speech & Hearing Center located at Battaramulla and Ambalangoda.[1]
Dishan De Silva practices as a Consultant Speech Pathologist at Asiri Medical Hospital[2] and at his own clinic in Sri Lanka.
Education
De Silva was educated at Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda, where he won sports colours and was a senior prefect. He was a Basketball player at Dharmasoka College Basketball team. In 2012, De Silva entered Bangalore University from where he graduated[3] with a Bachelor in Speech & Language Pathology & Audiology. He subsequently obtained a Masters in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology from Bangalore University in 2018, which paved the way for him to gather a vast knowledge in the area of his expertise.
Professional career
As a dedicated professional in the Speech & Language & Audiology sphere, Dishan De Silva got many opportunities to gain on-the-job experience from some of the most prestigious institutions in India such as National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences(NIMHANS). With all the experience he gathered, he returned to Sri Lanka and practiced at Vision Care, Nawaloka hospital and at Ratmalana Audiology Center[4][5] (Affiliated with Ceylon School for the Deaf & Blind, Ratmalana) which is a project run by Dialog Axiata PLC.

Honours & Awards
In 2016 he volunteered as an Audiologist to make a mark in the Guinness Book of World Records, Imphal, Manipur, India where he was one of those who contributed to distribute 6,400 hearing aids to people.[6] This was organized by National Programme for Prevention of and Control of Deafness and National Health Mission.[7]
