Disney Lorcana, also known as Lorcana, is a collectible card game being released by Ravensburger, in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company, in fall 2023.[1][2][3] It is Ravensburger's first trading card game,[4] features characters from throughout Disney's film history, and is anticipated to compete with other popular collectible card games like Magic: The Gathering and the Pokémon Trading Card Game.[5] Ravensburger North America CEO Filip Francke described Lorcana as "probably the largest investment that we have ever done into any type of project and initiative."[5]

The first set of promotional cards for Lorcana were released at the 2022 D23 Expo, and included Mickey Mouse, Stitch, Elsa, Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, Robin Hood, and Captain Hook.[1]

Game play[edit]

Rules for Disney Lorcana have not been officially released. However, it will include cards in six colors: Amber, Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, and Steel.[6]
