Disused Stations is an online database detailing information about railway stations in the United Kingdom which are disused or reopened.

The website was started by Nick Catford in 2004 as he had developed an interest on the subject. In 2015, there were over 1 million railway stations chronicled on the site and it had been viewed over 100,000 times.[1] Since 2004 Nick has been joined by a number of other writers and many people have contributed material. Frequent contributors on the site include Roy Lambeth, Alan Young, and Terry Callaghan. The purpose of the site is to build up a comprehensive database of this part of Britain’s railway heritage. Each station has photographs from the past and present, a written history and a selection of maps. All stations added from November 2007 also include a timetable extract and tickets where available.[2]

Since the site was started it has developed to include goods stations, stations that have reopened and other railway related features.
