DivXLand Media Subtitler is a Freeware software subtitle editing program.[1] The program is the successor of DivXLand Subtitler.

The software allows the creation of subtitle files from scratch, from external plain-text files, or from the clipboard directly. The software supports synchronizing subtitles and creating new subtitles. The software has a built-in Windows Media Player engine for preview of the subtitled video in any format supported by the player.

The program has been translated by its users to many languages, and supports Right-to-left languages for interface localization as well as subtitle file editing.[2] The program uses a millisecond-based synchronization mode, yet it can import and export subtitle files to at least 35 subtitle formats, including the most common formats such as SubRip, SAMI, and SSA. Features for subtitle embedding in AVI files is also included.[3]
