Divyesh Mansukhlal Savaliya (gu) (born 04 May 1984) is an Indian entrepreneur who is the founder and chairman of the Onix Group, a multinational company involved in the renewable energy sector, and its headquarters is located in Gujarat, India.[2][3][4][5]
Early life and education
Savaliya was born on 4 May 1984 in a Gujarati Hindu family to Mansukhlal Savaliya (father) and Rashilaben Savaliya (mother) in Rajkot, Gujarat.[6] He pursued a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering at Atmiya University. Later, he earned another bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Saurashtra University, followed by an MBA from Matrix School of Management Studies.[7][8]
Career
In 2007, Savaliya founded Onix Renewable Ltd., focusing on renewable energy solutions in India.[9] The company expanded into the solar power sector in 2014, wind energy in 2017, and hybrid energy projects in 2021.[10][11][12]
As of 2024, Onix Renewable has been involved in several government-backed clean energy initiatives and private sector collaborations, including a 2,000 MW renewable energy project in Uttar Pradesh.[13][14][12]
Under Savaliya’s leadership, Onix Renewable has emphasized research and development in energy production and has collaborated[15] with government initiatives to expand clean energy infrastructure.[16][17][18]
