Djiboutian Canadians are residents and citizens of Canada who are of Djiboutian ancestry. The community is small. It numbered around 525 Djibouti-born individuals according to the 2006 Census.[1] The 2011 National Household Survey recorded 1,495 Canadian residents born in Djibouti, of whom 770 were Canadian citizens.[2] Djiboutian nationals include a number of individuals of Somali ethnicity,[3] who are typically aggregated with Somali Canadians.[4][not in citation given]
