Dmitriy Sosnovskiy is a Russian mixed martial artist, currently signed to Ultimate Fighting Championship and fights in the Heavyweight division.[1]
UFC Career[edit]
In June 2016, Dmitriy was signed to the UFC heavyweight division.
Dimitriy was scheduled to fight Justin Ledet on UFC Fight Night: Bermudez vs. Korean Zombie card, however Ledet pulled out of the fight on due to an undisclosed injury.
The fight against Justin Ledet was then rescheduled for UFC Fight Night: Rockhold vs. Branch card, however Ledet pulled out of the fight on January 26 alleging an undisclosed injury, and promotion officials elected to remove Sosnovskiy from the card. In turn, the UFC confirmed that Ledet was suspended for four months after testing positive for a banned substance.
