Dmitry Green (ru: Дмитрий Грин ) (born 1979) is an information technology entrepreneur. He is a member of the Education and Human Resources committee at the Russian Association for Electronic Communications, current IT advisor at the Skolkovo Foundation, assistant to the senator of the Federation Council, VP of entrepreneurship development at the Rybakov Foundation, member of the expert group on education for strategic development of the Russian Federation, and the CEO and co-founder of the World Entrepreneurial Leadership Foundation_Roscongress.org-1|[1].

Biography[edit]

Green was born in 1979 in Moscow. He began his professional career in the late 90s at Yukos Oil Company. He attended the Moscow Humanities University, graduating in 2004, and then spent a year at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, studying Computer Science and Control Systems.

From 2003 to 2006 he was a specialist at the Social Programs Directorate, head of the project department of the Directorate for Information and Public Relations of the Interregional Public Organization «Otkrytaya Rossiya». He implemented projects to find gifted children from 45 regions of the Russian Federation and involve them into the company’s programs.

From 2006 to 2007 he was a member of the Science and Technology Council of the city of Moscow.

From 2007 to 2009 he wasGeneral Director of Datek IT company, head of project office. Execution of government contracts for the implementation of information systems and supply of educational equipment to Moscow schools and universities.

In 2010 he founded the company COMDI.COM_Bizfam.ru-2|[2] — a start-up in the field of web conferences and online broadcasts. In 2011, the firm attracted investments from a venture fund managed by VTB Capital Asset Management, which became one of its main investors. COMDI won a grant from Microsoft. In 2012 the company merged with the largest Russian player in the web conferencing market Webinar.ru. The overall company has occupied 75% of the Russian web-conferencing market.

In 2009, 2010, and 2013 he was awarded the National Prize for the contribution to the development of the Russian Internet segment , the Runet Award (in 2009 for the international media startup project "The First Interactive Radio RTS.FM"», in 2010 for the project "COMDI. Under his leadership were launched projects such as R2club.ru ( a community of successful Russian entrepreneurs), Equium.club (a business club for entrepreneurs), preactum.ru (non-commercial youth entrepreneurship development program encompassing all regions in Russia)

In April 2018 he co-founded World Entrepreneurial Leadership Foundation.
