Doctor Care Anywhere
Doctor Care Anywhere is a telemedicine doctor consultation service offered in the United Kingdom, in partnership with Nuffield Health, which provides face to face appointments if needed.[1] In 2016 an individual subscription cost £20 per month.[2] It sells its services to individuals as well as corporate clients like Universal Music Group.[3]
It was started by Dr Bayju Thakar, a doctor who has worked for McKinsey & Company, in 2012.[3] Kate Newhouse became the CEO.[1][4]
In 2015 the company signed an exclusive partnership to provide telemedicine services to people insured in the UK by AXA PPP.[5][6] The company was acquired that year by Synergix Health.[7]
In 2016 Newhouse was honored by First Women as a leader in digital health.[4]
