The ‘Dom peri-bomb’ is a cocktail created and coined by physicist Jonathan Bean. It takes inspiration from the popular Jägerbomb but rather than red bull as the mixer contains champagne. The drink is considered to be an acquired taste but can now be found in a number of high profile bars and members clubs in London.
A typical ‘Dom peri-bomb’ contains 1 shot of Jägermeister in a glass of one measure of champagne/prosecco.
Although its namesake suggests the use of Dom perigon champagne a cheaper version can be made with prosecco or cava.
The drink has a strong flavour and is not for the faint hearted.
the drink has been re-citated a number of times in the popular literature[1] [2]
