Dominique Navarro

Dominique Navarro is a natural history artist. She illustrated the AUC Press Nature Foldouts for Egypt, published by the American University in Cairo Press.[1] She was an art director of Big History, which was nominated in the category "Graphic Design & Art Direction" for the 35th annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards in 2014.[2]

AUC Press Nature Foldouts[edit]

Navarro illustrated and designed the AUC Press Nature Foldouts, which introduce a variety of Egypt's animals and plants – including birds, dinosaurs, and animals frequently depicted in the artwork of ancient Egyptians – with scientific names, text, diagrams, and maps.
