Caron came to prominence during the USA 45th Presidency with political satires, against the administration of Donald Trump. In his popular rendering of classic and popular songs he often produces triplicate or more versions of himself singing in harmony. His skill at using hits of singers throughout US history as a parody of government policies and electoral responses gained him a widespread and international following.

Early Life Caron was born on January 15, 1955 in Chelan Washington to Leo Donald Caron and Margaret Yackley Caron, the fourth child of six. He attended high school at Gonzaga Prep in Spokane, Washington and Sacred Heart High School in Miles City, Montana.

Caron studied music, both theoretical and as a performer at Whitworth University in Spokane from 1973 to 1977. Under the tutelage of Margaret Saunders Ott, he specialised as a music major in applied piano. He was also skilled in the organ which he taught for some years alongside his performances. He was co-founder of Composers' Conspiracy, in 1976, an organization devoted to producing live concerts of music by Northwest composers.

He began composing ballet class music in 1986 becoming internationally recognized for his unique style of writing and performing in that genre. He released four albums of ballet class music between 1989 and 1994 A system he developed: the MotoSonus Method, has been widely used as a teaching method across the world. It was the first standardized approach to composing ballet class music designed to enhance the effectiveness of the teaching process and accelerate learning. n 1990 he co-founded and co-directed Art Growers Association, a Washington non-profit corporation devoted to promoting original applications of music and dance in concert and educational settings. The Association distributed jazz and ballet instructional videos with music by Caron, and choreography by Jeffrey Amsden and Elizabeth Carlssohn.

Contemporary work Caron combines music with humanitarian and political interests and these were merged in his re-working of many former hit songs into political parodies. Especially his songs based on renderings by Simon and Garfunckle, where he sings both parts, have gained him millions of supporters. The Parody Project was set up to provide the space for writing and performing online, and flourished especially during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. His songs have focused on the loss of democracy, the urgency of peace, and the gullibility of the electorate. His prolific output related to the Presidential Election of 2020 probably contributed to a wider understanding of political arguments than the speeches of politicians themselves.
