Early life and musical influences
Burbage was born on May 19, 1987, in Jacksonville, Fla., to Don and Ginger Burbage. His early affinity towards music came from both video games and listening to his mother's records.[4] He cites Iron Maiden, blues legend Stevie Ray Vaughn, and country guitarist Albert Lee as his first influences.[5] He has stated on multiple occasions that Hallowed be thy Name by Iron Maiden was the song that made him pick up the guitar.[citation needed]

Career
Burbage spent the early years of his musical career as a guitar instructor, multi-genre guitarist for hire, a ghostwriter for different musical acts, and a guitar tech. He started in 2008 playing guitar for North Carolina metalcore band Parallels. His professional career took off when he joined the Asheville-based metal band Æther Realm in 2014. During his time with the band, he recorded their second album, Tarot (2017), and third album, Redneck Vikings from Hell (2020).[2] In 2022, he joined Cradle of Filth, where he wrote and recorded guitars for their sisxteenth album "The Screaming Of The Valkyries," which peaked at #1 in the UK's Rock & Metal Albums Charts and #43 in the overall UK Albums Charts.[6] [7]
He has filled in on touring guitars for Vale of Pnath (2020) and worked as a guitar tech for Nekrogoblikon (Warped Tour 2018) and Evergrey (2019).[3][8]
