Donovan Stiner (born February 11, 1999) is a professional American football safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Florida.

College career

2017

In Stiner's first season at Florida, he played in 11 games as a reserve defensive back and special teams standout. He had 9 tackles.[1]

2018

In the following year, Stiner played in 13 games and started 12 of them at safety. He had 49 tackles, 2 interceptions, a pass break up, a tackle for loss and a sack. He was also named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.[1]

2019

In his third year, Stiner played in 13 games and started 6 of them at safety. He had 30 tackles, a tackle for loss, 4 interceptions, and a pass break up. He was tied for second in the SEC for interceptions. Stiner was also named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for a second time.[1]

2020

In his final year of collegiate football, Stiner played in 11 games and started 10 of them at safety. He had 62 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and a pass break up. He was named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.[1]

Professional career

Pittsburgh Steelers

On May 1, 2021, Stiner was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent.[2] On August 31, 2021, Stiner was cut during the final roster cuts.[3] On September 1, 2021, Stiner was signed to the practice squad.[4] On January 18, 2022, he was signed to a futures contract.[5]
