Dory (Finding Nemo)
Finding Nemo[edit]
Finding Nemo is a 2003 American computer-animated adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Directed by Andrew Stanton, the film tells the story of the overprotective clownfish named Marlin who, along with a regal blue tang named Dory, searches for his captured son Nemo.
Characters[edit]
Main Characters[edit]
- Marlin: An overprotective clownfish and Nemo's father.
- Nemo: A young clownfish and Marlin's son, curious and adventurous.
- Dory: A regal blue tang who suffers from short-term memory loss and helps Marlin find Nemo.
Plot[edit]
The story begins in the Great Barrier Reef, where two clownfish, Marlin and Coral, are happily living together with their clutch of eggs. However, an attack by a barracuda leaves Coral and most of the eggs destroyed, with only one egg surviving, which Marlin names Nemo. Over time, Nemo grows up but is overprotected by his father due to his small fin, which was damaged during the barracuda attack.
Adventure[edit]
One day, Nemo swims too close to the surface and is captured by a diver, prompting Marlin to embark on a journey to find him. Along the way, Marlin meets Dory, who agrees to help him despite her memory issues. They encounter various challenges and meet other sea creatures who aid them in their quest.
Resolution[edit]
After numerous adventures, Marlin and Dory finally reach Sydney, where Nemo has been taken. With the help of a group of seagulls, they manage to find the dentist's office where Nemo is being kept. Eventually, Nemo escapes and reunites with his father, learning valuable lessons about trust and independence.
