Douglas Ferreira Aguiar (born 23 July 1995), known by the stage name Douglas Ferregui, is a Brazilian actor, singer and composer. He began his acting career in short films, before appearing in the movie High School Musical: O Desafio in 2010 [2]. In 2019 was chosen to live the character Rodrigo, his first protagonist in the movie Não Faça Isso Comigo [3].
Career[edit]
His first appearance in the movies was in the film High School Musical: O Desafio in 2010,[4] At the time, was studying arts at the Leopoldina da Silveira College, in the Bangu neighborhood, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro[5]. Due to its popularity among young audiences, it signed a contract in 2012 with the record label Bangu Records, where he wrote compositions for several singers. In 2016 he directed the animated short film Brurraqueos[6], and joined the theater company "Cia Duarte", where he acted in several theatrical productions, such as "Telling Stories" where he performed on TV Globo's "Jovens Tardes" project [7], and in the play "The Emerald Hunter Wizard"[8] being his most notorious work in the theater. In 2017 he released his first EP, entitled "20 de Julho"[9], and starred in the documentary series "Douglas Ferregui's Like Me"[10] .
