Drivosity is a US-based telematics software company that provides GPS-based vehicle tracking and safety solutions for the food delivery industry.[1] [2]

History

The company was founded in 2015 by Brian Moroney and Rick Mohler to address the rising costs of food delivery operations.[3][4]

In 2019, Drivosity secured a partnership with pizza restaurant chain Papa John's to install GPS live tracking and safety solutions in over 1,000 restaurants nationwide.[5][6] In 2021, Drivosity partnered with Domino's Pizza, with Domino's Carside Delivery® and a two-minute guarantee, which led to a bet on DraftKings.Inc. [7]

Technology

Drivosity’s devices are mounted within car toppers, track speed, hard cornering, hard braking, and other metrics to monitor driving data in real-time.[8] Drivosity's software platform allows users to pinpoint a vehicle’s location while presenting an updated log of vehicle and driver information, such as drivers’ speed, location, and behaviors.[9][10] The service monitors what, when and how drivers complete their routes, as well as their safety performance.[11][12] Drivosity does not require driver interaction as it uses GPS technology to track all delivery stages automatically.
