Dryer Vent Wizard
Dryer Vent Wizard (DVW) is a national franchise that specializes in cleaning, repairing, replacing, altering and maintaining dryer vents. It has over 60 franchisees servicing more than 9,000 communities across the United States.
A member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), DVW is ranked in Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 List[2] and listed as one of the Top Home-Based Franchises.[3] It also participates in VetFran, offering franchise discounts to veterans.
[1]== History == The franchise was founded in 2004 by David Lavalle, who also founded Mr. Handyman. Headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, its CEO is Terry Reuer and president [1] is Jason Kapica.
Partnership[edit]
Along with providing cleaning and maintenance services to help prevent dryer fires, DVW raises public awareness about fire prevention and energy savings. It partnered with the Children's Burn Foundation in 2012[4] to aid in fire-prevention education and help support child burn survivors.
