Dubec or Dubets (Ukrainian: Дубець transliteration: Dubec') is a Slavic surname found in the Balkans, Russia and Ukraine.[1][2] The name roughly translates to "whip", "rod", "twig", "switch", "withe" or "withy".[3] The name is considered uncommon.
