Dunes League T20 is a professional franchise Twenty20 cricket league in Saudi Arabia, organised by the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF). The league is scheduled to begin in October 2026 and will feature six franchise teams.[1][2]

According to the organisers, the league aims to contribute to the growth of cricket in Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region by combining international players, emerging domestic talent and sports entertainment.[1][2]

History

In October 2025, the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation granted South Asian Network Limited (SAN Ltd) the rights to establish and manage a professional T20 cricket league in Saudi Arabia.[2]

In May 2026, SAN Ltd announced the launch of the Dunes League T20 in partnership with Unique Sports Group and Prolithic Talent Agency.[1][3] Former Indian international cricketer Yuvraj Singh was appointed as the league ambassador.[1][4]

The inaugural edition of the tournament is expected to be played in October 2026.[2]

Format

The tournament is expected to feature six franchise teams. The competition format consists of a round-robin stage followed by playoffs.[1]
