On March 15, 2021, Dustan Townsend, musician of the band FishinaBirdcage, defeated the RPAN Bee stream at 12:16pm EST. The notorious Bee stream was a live video, with a close up shot of the bees flying in and out of the hive, which had infected the Reddit site and became stuck like honey on the front page. Due to a technical bug, the video stream had been number one for a period of 24 hours. With over 5,000 viewers, Dustan knocked out the Bee stream. During the live performance, he unveiled a new song he had finished writing 2 hours prior to playing it live for the first time. This song, "Rock Step", is a song he wrote in dedication to his parents 2 hours prior to playing it live for the first time.
