Dwarika Nath College is an undergraduate college located in Jattichak, Masaurhi, in the Patna district of Bihar, India. It was established in 1979, and it is affiliated with Magadh University.[citation needed]
History
Dwarika Nath College was established on 26 June 1979 in Jattichak, Masaurhi, Patna district. The college was founded through the efforts of local residents, including Sri Dwarika Nath Singh, an executive engineer, and other community members who recognized the need for higher education facilities in the region. Prior to the establishment of the college, there were no institutions offering higher education in the Masaurhi area.[citation needed]
The college received approval from the Government of Bihar for intermediate and bachelor's degree programmes on 6 November 1982. Permanent affiliation for Bachelor of Arts, Science, and Commerce programmes at the honours level was subsequently granted.[citation needed]
Campus
The college is located in front of Masaurhi Court Halt, providing convenient access to road and rail transport for students and staff.[citation needed] The campus includes a playground and green spaces.[citation needed]
