Dzala people
The Dzala people or Dzalas (Dzalakha: ཛ་ལ་ ,Wylie: Dza-la) are a Tibetic ethnic group primarily found in the Lhuntse and Trashiyangtse Districts of eastern Bhutan.[1] They speak Dzalakha, a eastern Bodish language.[2]

Demographics and distribution[edit]
The Dzala people numbering 26,500 live primarily in the Lhuntse and Trashiyangtse Districts of eastern Bhutan.[5] They speak Dzala also known as Dzalakha, a eastern Bodish language.[6] The primary religion practiced by the Dzalas is Tibetan Buddhism.[7]
