ERP Fellowship

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The ERP Scholarship Program is a notable German fellowship for graduate studies in the U.S. It has been operated since 1994 from funds of the ERP Special Fund, which is administered by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi). The German National Academic Foundation organizes the program as a "special program" and selects the scholarship holders, similar to the McCloy Academic Scholarship Program. The program supports postgraduates for one to two-year study or research stays at top US-American universities with awards up to USD 100,000. The aim of the program is to promote students who are excellent in their field and socially or politically engaged and to contribute to transatlantic relations. Approximately 15 scholarships are awarded each year. The scholarship includes a grant towards tuition fees and a full monthly stipend. However, applicants must apply for admission to the American universities themselves.[1] [2] [3]
