ETerrain Mode

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The e-TERRAIN MODE is an electric vehicle version of the existing internal combustion engine terrain mode.[1] When the driver selects the driving mode according to the road surface situation, the system optimizes the driving force and braking force.

Details

The e-TERRAIN MODE has been further developed to control the system after selecting the driving mode in the existing terrain mode. The e-TERRAIN MODE implements functions through two controls: VCU control and ESC control.[2]

In addition, the e-TERRAIN MODE inversely utilizes the characteristics of the disconnect actuator system to increase the response rate of the system. It restricts the operation of the 2WD mode and maintains the AWD state at all times to respond quickly to changes in the road surface.

The e-TERRAIN MODE was applied to Genesis GV80 and GV70.[3]
