Eamonn Sinnott

Eamonn Sinnott is General Manager of Intel Ireland the Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations at Intel Corporation.[1][2][3] He is currently Vice-Chair of the American Chamber of Commerce EU Executive Council[4] and Chair of the Mid-East Regional Enterprise Plan Implementation Committee.[5] Sinnott was a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce, Ireland for over six years and served as President in 2015.[6]

Sinnott is a long-term supporter of the Ireland’s Edge creative event series,[7] [8] [9]which operates on the belief that “the best version of our future will only be realised by fruitful collaborations and collisions between the arts, technology, innovation, storytelling and human experience.”[10]

Background and Education[edit]

Sinnott is from Wexford Town, County Wexford.[11][12] He attended Kevin Street College, Dublin Institute of Technology,[13] from which he was awarded a BSc in Physics and Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin. He holds an MBA from University College Dublin.[14] Sinnott was appointed Fellow of the Irish Academy of Engineering.[15] He qualified as a Chartered Director in 2019 and is a Member of the Institute of Directors.[16]

Career[edit]

Sinnott joined Intel in 1991 and was based at the Albuquerque, New Mexico campus. In 1995, he took the position of Manufacturing Manager at Intel Ireland and subsequently became Factory Manager and Plant Manager.[17] In 2010, Sinnott was promoted to Vice President of Intel’s Manufacturing and Operations Group and General Manager of Intel Ireland.[18][19]
